The Netherlands have a leading position within the international greenhouse industry. Successful technologies and growing methods quite often have their origin in The Netherlands.
This makes The Netherlands special. Governments and growers who want to be successful, implement Dutch technologies.
Edwin Dekker, son of a tomato grower, has been involved in horticulture from an early age. After completing his technical studies, he has been working in horticultural technology since 1986. All changes and innovations that were developed in horticulture were first included in new and existing schemes at Priva, where Edwin worked for 30 years. Edwin has always been closely involved in devising, testing and implementing these new developments in software and hardware and has therefore gained a lot of experience. Later Edwin became the commercial manager responsible for the market and knows how to translate the wishes of the customer into a solution. Due to the scaling-up and changing legislation in recent years and the associated changes for the customer, many new developments were needed for which a solution was found.
As Director owner at FDG Systems, Edwin is mainly concerned with technology, product development and design of installations.[:nlAls Directeur eigenaar bij FDG Systems houdt Edwin zich voornamelijk bezig met techniek, productontwikkeling en ontwerp van installaties.
